COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Landlord & Tenant Board is currently holding all hearings remotely using video and teleconferencing platforms.
KCLC provides duty counsel services to tenants who have a hearing before the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Duty Counsel gives priority to tenants with eviction hearings. All tenants who have a hearing and wish to receive legal advice will be given an opportunity to speak with Duty Counsel.
You should plan to be at your hearing for the entire day. There are many hearings booked on the same day and time as yours. Everyone is asked to come at the same time. It is important that you sign in and not be late for your hearing because the application may be heard without you.
Please arrive at 9:30 a.m. and bring all relevant documents with you.
